The collection pays homage to the art form of hand block printing. The idea for the said collection lies in taking a contemporary and minimal approach to the otherwise traditional art form, moving away from vivid colours to a more monochromatic colour palette. One of the biggest inspirations behind this collection, and my love for the art of block-printing, comes from my Mother. I grew up watching her experiment with numerous fabrics and eventually mastering the art form. I always loved that it allowed her to express herself, while embracing the perfect imperfections often borne out of its hand crafted nature.
